New Work in Asia
For almost 36 years, CSCFM worked with NATIVE MISSIONARIES exclusively in Latin and South America. Through an incredible set of circumstances in 2005, God clearly revealed He had an expanded plan for CSCFM to offer help in Asia which would begin in India. In 3 years, the Lord has added 34 teams in 5 countries on the Asian continent. The increase in total number of film teams and the resources to provide for them is truly a blessing from the Lord. The organization Gospel For Asia says that “Today the reality is that 97 percent of the world's unreached lives in the 10/40 Window, a rectangular shaped area on our globe extending from West Africa to East Asia, from 10 degrees north to 40 degrees north of the equator. In this part of the world, millions live with little or no chance of ever hearing the Gospel. The Window also encompasses the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. The darkest of all areas within the 10/40 Window is Asia. Over 80,000 die every day in Asian countries without knowing about the love of Jesus Christ. 500,000 villages in India alone have never heard the Gospel. Although 97 percent of the world’s unreached people live in the 10/40 Window, less than 0.05% of our total resources as the Church in the West are being sent to help share the Good News. Truly there is a staggering amount of work to do. However, with native missionaries we can reach them!”
New Work in Africa
After several years of prayer and receiving many requests for help, God has allowed CSCFM to begin 3 new film teams on the continent of Africa. Two of the teams are in Kenya and one is in Liberia. These new works began in the fall of 2008. We are very excited about the opportunities God has placed before us on this new continent for CSCFM. New Work in Latin & South America
God’s outpouring for Asia has also led to an expanded vision in Latin and South America as well. Bolivia has been selected as the next country for expansion and future home of operations in South America. Bolivia is centrally located and will serve as a staging area for serving the remaining countries in South America. New teams are also being added to supplement efforts in existing countries. God has brought forward a number of new volunteers in the USA to further the CSCFM work. As the vision and resources were multiplied, God has supplied labor resources in America as well to cope with the increased needs of a larger organization. New Web-Site
The web-site you are looking at is completely new as of 2008 and is a result of the hard work of several new volunteers. The web-site is a great new tool which has positioned CSCFM for continued exponential growth. A few key additions from the website are: - Automated collection of monthly information from each film team by login and recording the information in a CSCFM database
- A private internet forum for team members to encourage and help each other
- A picture and testimony gallery so we can have better first hand knowledge of the work God is performing
- Opportunity to support the ministry over the internet (coming soon).
